Does your product really work?

The bioactive compounds in my feminine spray (calendula, tea tree, palmarosa, orange, and lemongrass essential oils) all have anti-fungal and antibacterial properties, and they are especially good at killing the fungus and bacteria that are responsible for yeast infections and bacterial vaginosis. Specifically, calendula has shown to outperform prescription drugs in killing BV in medical studies. An overwhelming majority of my clients experience same-day relief from chronic itching, burning, discharge, odor, and pain stemming from yeast infection and bacterial vaginosis. Try it today!

How do I use it?

Some options in application:

  • You can spray directly onto the area of concern (typically the outer and inner labia and the opening of the vaginal canal)
  • You can spray into your (freshly washed) hand and apply to the area
  • You can spray onto a pantyliner

A little goes a long way as this is a potent formula so start with 2-3 pumps of the spray nozzle; this will likely provide enough product to apply to the area of concern

This is a topical product meant to be applied to the outer areas in your private region. DO NOT INSERT or apply product internally.

How often should I apply it?

Regarding the number of applications: The bioactive compounds in this product are very potent so I would caution everyone to test on a patch of skin first to determine sensitivity (the underside of the arm is a good location). After testing has shown no negative side effects, 2-3 pumps of the spray nozzle is more than enough per application. You may use the product as needed, any time you need relief from discomfort. Even with twice-daily use, the bottle can last 3 months or more.

How long does it take to start working?

While every body is different and clients certainly report different experiences, many clients have reported immediate or same-day relief from itching and irritation. If your symptoms are more severe, it may take a few more days to get complete relief.

Can I use it even if I don't have an infection?

Absolutely! Many of my clients use my product as a feminine deodorant spray daily just to keep things feeling fresh.

Is this product FDA approved?

Feminine deodorant sprays are considered cosmetics and cosmetics are simply registered with the FDA. My product is registered with the FDA and is manufactured within an FDA-registered and licensed facility.

Is this ok to use on sensitive skin?

Bona Dea Naturals Feminine Spray has been dermatologist tested and clinically proven to be hypoallergenic and non-irritating, based on a Repeat Insult Patch Test conducted August 2020. For more information about this testing, visit this link.
