Chaparral Infused Oil Extract (Macerated Oil), 2oz | DIY Health & Beauty Ingredient | Antibacterial | Anti-fungal | Anti-inflammatory
A traditional healing herb used by Native Americans for centuries, chaparral (the herbal name for the creosote bush) has a variety of topical applications. Its antibacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-inflammatory properties can promote the healing of minor wounds, as well as assist in reducing inflammation and pain when used externally.
Infused with low-heat extraction, sustainably wildcrafted dried chaparral leaves are macerated with olive oil in a slow infusion process that allows all of the bioactive compounds from the plant to come through in the finished product. Using shelf-stable olive oil as the carrier and adding vitamin E prior to bottling allows the final infusion to remain viable 2 years after production. Please store away from heat and light to further prolong the product's viability.
Bona Dea Naturals Chaparral Infused Oil is beneficial as an herbal remedy on its own or can be used as a powerful natural ingredient in your next homemade or DIY natural beauty recipe. Given its anti-fungal properties, it's an especially useful addition to salves intended to treat athlete's foot, jock itch, ringworm, or other skin irritations that derive from fungal infections.
*Please note: This is a natural product. The color of this oil can change from batch to batch, and is completely normal. The color may range from gold to olive green and the scent is dominated by olive fruit with earthy undertones.
Instructions for use:
Test on small patch of skin prior to use to determine existing sensitivity or irritability. Apply as needed to promote the healing of cuts, burns, and sores.
WARNING: For topical use only. DO NOT SWALLOW. Not for internal use. Do not use if pregnant or nursing.
Ingredients: Olive Oil, Sustainably Wildcrafted Dried Chaparral Leaves, Vitamin E
Bona Dea Chaparral Infused Oil is packaged within a 2 oz amber glass dropper bottle. The color of the bottle protects the product from sunlight and the product is packaged within glass to prevent chemical leaching that would happen in a plastic container.
Please consult a medical professional prior to use.
Shipping from United States
Products ship in 1 business day (and Saturdays sometimes!) via USPS. Tracking information will be provided the day of shipment and shipping options include Priority Mail (1-3 business days) or First Class (2-5 business days) for the United States and First Class International (arrival will vary).
If the tracking information from the USPS states that your order has not yet been delivered (and it should have by now), then I'll totally work with you to get in touch with USPS and figure out the problem. I won't hold you responsible if the USPS loses your package and if that looks to be the case after we've contacted them, then I'll re-ship or issue a refund.
Unfortunately, once the order shows as "delivered" in the tracking information provided by USPS, I'm not able to assist you any further. If your order has been marked as "delivered" but you feel you haven't received it, I would suggest the following actions:
**contact your local post office
**talk with your mail carrier
**look around your mailbox/door/front porch/reception area (you are looking for a 5x5x5 cardboard box)
**ask your neighbors
**email USPS regarding "mis-delivered" or "stolen" mail. Here is the link to file a Mail Theft complaint: https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/investigations/mailfraud/fraudschemes/mailtheft/ReportMailTheft.aspx

Returns and exchange details
Unfortunately due to health reasons, I am not able to accept returns. See my shipping policy for potential refund options regarding packages lost during shipping.
I prefer to reuse packaging from personal purchases. In any given shipment, you may receive an order packaged in bubble wrap, air pillows, Styrofoam peanuts, or brown paper. These are all packaging materials being reused in an effort to reduce waste. If you receive an order packaged in plain tissue paper, then that means I was all out of other packaging to reuse!
